MeowCo Cat of the Month – October 2021
Say hello to the queen of darkness Smudge! Smudge is about 4 years old, she and her sister (Millie) were rescue cats that found me care of Ely Cats Protection league.
The three of us have been housemates for about a year now. They were brought up as indoor cats but since being introduced to the garden, Smudge has proven the more adventurous of the two.
Smudge loves wandering around the neighbourhood making friends, though she needs to brush up on her green cross code! Careful kitten!
She’s also started developing her hunting skills having graduated from worms to mice as gifts for keeping her fed and warm. Recently she’s decided my bed is hers and gets rather miffed when I have the temerity to want to sleep in my bed, which naturally she takes as a sign that I can fuss her and she’s quite adept at waking me up in the morning when she also wants fussing… Top Cat Dad Tom!
